This site exists specifically to service those therapeutic and self-help programs that are based on the findings of 'affective neuroscience' and affectology as a group definition and that include any online information-getting. These may be Af-x, ECR, or even practitioners who choose to operate under the title 'clinical affectology.'
I (Ian White) have for 30 years, focused on INFORMATION being as important or near-important as actual therapeutic engagement. We have known for centuries that in order to modify aspects of the human mind, mood, emotions or behavior, it is far more effective for there to be a "getting of knowledge" about how those aspects of the human mind work, how habits and characteristics were formed and what keeps them in place. The information in any public sites related to affectology and/or its practical variants has intentionally been kept to a reasonable minimum, with the hope that visitors, and particularly those who intend to participate in any of the affectological programs, will visit these pages and get more knowledge about themselves. Knowledge is power. |

Please Note
Depending on your personal level of information acceptance (for instance, academic, detailed, mid-range, or "on a time-diet"), some of the information in these pages may seem overly detailed and beyond normal 'importance'. We've done our best to explain that on our home page.
Each of these pages have been produced ostensibly for those program participants who have a high level of curiosity about "how they work as human beings with a highly complex mind" and "how it works" at unconscious level, as regards the therapeutic program in question.
If you believe that detailed technical information is not vital to you in order to successfully complete any program offered under the 'affectology' umbrella, you're pretty much right.
These pages exemplify the classical phrase "for your interest" with the rider, "if you're interested, and we hope you are."
